The nonprofit community has long served as a source of compassion and support for people in need. DMF Lend A Hand shares a commitment to work in partnership with churches and other nonprofit organizations to assist individuals and families impacted by medical crisis.
DMF Lend A Hand supports church/nonprofit organizations in Cass County, ND and Clay County, MN that establish a Lend A Hand partnership program. DMF Lend A Hand offers:- Match funding
- Online donation tools
- Application and fund distribution guidelines

Donations to the Church/Nonprofit Fund are tax-deductible and support the church/nonprofit organization recommended by the donor. DMF Lend A Hand will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to a $5,000 maxiumum per Church/Nonprofit Fund per year.
100% of donations are distributed to people in need. Dakota Medical Foundation and participating church/nonprofit organizations have underwritten all administrative costs.

ARE YOU (OR A FAMILY MEMBER) EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP DUE TO CATASTROPHIC MEDICAL EXPENSES? DO YOU LIVE IN CASS COUNTY, ND OR CLAY COUNTY, MN?
Applications for Lend A Hand assistance are available at participating Church/Nonprofit organizations in Cass County, ND and Clay County, MN for individuals who can demonstrate a lack of resources to pay for one or more of the following non-covered medical expenses:
- Catastrophic medical care including clinic, hospital, home care and prescriptions
- Assistive medical equipment or supplies
- Travel/lodging expenses due to medical care received out-of-area
DMF Lend A Hand eligibility guidelines include:- Applicant/family has resided in Cass County, ND or Clay County, MN for one year or more
- Non-covered medical expenses are creating financial hardhsip
- Applicant/family is affiliated with the church/nonprofit organization
- Available funding
DMF Lend A Hand Lend A Hand assistance is made possible through the generosity of individual donors, Church/Nonprofit organizations, and Dakota Medical Foundation.
