This Training of Trainer (TOT) event is open to trainers and consultants committed to facilitating this course through CCR&R and those who are interested in integrating the information into their work as an early childhood professional.

When the words "children" and "movement" are thought about, physical development is usually the first benefit to come to mind. Physical development - in terms of skills and fitness - is critical in early childhood. Movement also has much to offer in the cognitive and social/emotional domains. This training will emphasize the integration of physical development into the structure of a typical early childhood day and offer tools for promoting movement in your work with caregivers and children.

Reasons to attent this event:

* Receive all of the materials needed to facilitate this course.
* Become eligible for contracts to teach this class to early childhood professionals through CCR&R.
* Gain an understanding of integrating physical movement into daily routines.
* Receive 8.0 clock hours of training.

By attending this training you will:

* Gain an understanding of the current state of children's health and how it connects to physical development.
* Gain an understanding of motor development and how to best facilitate learning.
* Learn how to use movement to promote social/emotional skills and cognitive development across the curriculum.
* Address how to create a positive learning environment while facilitating movement activities for children.
